The Painting Learning Journey Starter Course will be enjoyable, friendly and introduce learners to basic painting techniques and materials. It is suitable for beginners who would like to learn new skills in painting.
- Build creative confidence and support wellbeing
- Learn basic skills (e.g. colour mixing, brushwork, shape and form)
- Complete small studies using water-based media
- Reflect on personal progress and confidence
- Identify interest in further creative learning
Entry Requirements
Starter – This course/workshop is suitable if you’re a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don’t have relevant knowledge or experience.
Our courses are FREE to Somerset residents who can evidence that their annual income is below £25k or in receipt of benefits. This is important to note as we are targeting people who may face challenges financially or with health and well-being. For learners who are not eligible for free courses, there will be a charge of £142.00
