Build confidence in using drawing, printmaking, creative techniques and reflective writing for mindful connection to nature and yourself . This course will be enjoyable, friendly where
students will learn a range of creative skills through structured exploration. It is suitable for beginners and aims to support emotional resilience and wellbeing through connecting with
nature and reflective practice.
Aims:
- Deepen creative journaling skills through structured exploration
- Foster emotional resilience and well-being through regular reflective practice
- Develop creative techniques in visual storytelling and personal expression
- Encourage independence and progression through art and self-led learning
Learners will:
- Develop creative techniques in visual storytelling and personal expression
- Use visual and written journaling techniques to explore themes like identity, emotion, or nature
- Improve self-awareness through regular journal entries
- Develop confidence and interpersonal skills working in small groups
- Identify pathways to further learning
Our courses are FREE to Somerset residents who can evidence that their annual income is below £25k or in receipt of benefits. This is important to note as we are targeting people who may face challenges financially or with health and well-being. For learners who are not eligible for free courses, there will be a charge.
