The Mental Health Hike 2026 took place yesterday, and what an absolutely amazing and incredible event it was.
Our community came together for a 30-mile walk to raise awareness for Mental Health, and it was truly heartwarming to speak with so many people from all over who shared how much they enjoy this annual event.
A huge thank you goes to the amazing Chris Young from Wolff Barbers in Wells for organising such a fantastic event, alongside his incredible leaders Zoe, Neil, Andrew and Scott. We would also like to thank the wonderful team at the Wookey Hole Inn for providing food and live music throughout the day.
You all help make Heads Up what it is today, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support, dedication and kindness.
We are already looking forward to next year, where the event will be bigger and better than ever.
Take a Walk Song
Last year, the Mendip Mental Health Hike inspired something really special; Sam Evans turned the experience into music. Watch the video on YouTube, which captures the emotion and the connection of the event, and why it matters so much!
