Commissioned by Somerset Community Foundation, the short film highlights services available to the community from local charities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Wells Coronavirus Network (Help Wells) has been formed by Wells based community organisations to help and support the local response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
A number of local charities and organisations, including Heads Up are pooling resources and working together to coordinate the community’s response to Covid-19.

Somerset County Council have put together a useful and supportive page on their website based around looking after your Mental Health during these unprecedented times. It can be found on their website or by following the link below.
In addition, Somerset County Council have also launched a ‘single phone number’ for anyone in Somerset to call who needs Coronavirus-related support, including mental health. The line is available Monday to Sunday 8am – 6pm. For support call 0300 790 6275.
Mind have adapted their support for people and organisations in Somerset to target those whose mental health will be affected by the Covid-19 crisis. Their telephone support service has been extended to open from 9am-11pm on weekdays and 8pm-11pm at the weekend. T: 01823 276892.
The government has launched a Coronavirus information service through WhatsApp. You can get official advice and information directly from the government by WhatsApping ‘hi’ to 07860 064422.
